So this is a fantastic place. Both of food from Mexico and from Central America. The flavors were off the hook. They're so good you can tell there's a lot of love in this food. This is the kind of stuff people cook at home. The pupusas were my main draw today but as you can see we had tacos and we had empanadas and Huarache. So let's get into it First, the pupusas which are the masa from what you would put with tamales but hand formed into a thick Patty stuffed with meat or cheese and other things and so that was really good. These are tricky to cook because if you cook them too long they get hard and are dry. If you don't cook them long enough, the meat inside doesn't cook enough and it's cold so these were done perfectly. With enough crunch and bite, but with the wonderful cheese and meat inside so good. These are some of the best I've ever had in Grand Rapids. On the Mexican side we opted for just tacos El pastor. This is this is actually a really complex flavor. The meat is lathered bin and marinated in a chile Colorado, + the served sliced on the taco. During the cooking process pineapple is used which is a natural enzyme which softens the meat and brings an amazing sweetness to the whole dish that unifies the flavors and then served with some Spanish onions, cilantro and their House red salsa. It was a wonderful marrying of many different flavors into one great bite. The corn tortillas were made by El milagros here in Grand Rapids, so they were fresh and fluffy. So much good goodness going on there. I also had horchata, which is obviously homemade here. Most places get it from mix and it's overly sweet so you could tell this place made it from scratch very cinnamony and not too sweet which is how I love it. So they were hitting all the notes today. Definitely a small place. Not for large parties. Takeout business you could tell was very busy. Price is a reasonable and will be back definitely for the caldo de de res. Which featured prominently on their menu. So big menu family-run business. Lots of love. It's just like getting invited over to their house for a great feast. Definitely go back.

Incredible Honduran food! Undoubtedly some of the best in West Michigan, if not the entire state of Michigan. Owners seem like nice folks and passionate about the food. There's an authentic feel to this place. It's pretty small, only 4ish tables inside and they're pretty packed together. Lots of easy parking, but be prepared to do takeout if there's no space to eat inside. They've got their eye on a bigger space sometime in the future. Lots of great Honduran options. I recommend the cheese empanadas, the pupusas, the baleadas, and the Honduran-style catracho tacos. All of it is excellent, but the empanadas and baleadas were really something special! Lots of great drink choices too! Really tasty Jamaica, I recommend it! Also lots of Jarrito flavors and things like banana soda. The good stuff. Overall 5/5. Authentic and tasty cuisine. Passionate and friendly owners. Price is right. This is the kind of place the GR community needs to support and keep operating for years and years!

I haven't had food this good in a loooong time. We tried multiple dishes and everything was absolute perfection. I mean as fresh and good quality as you can get it, seasoned to perfection and cooked beautifully. Must eat the food there. It would be a disservice to this quality of food to take to go.

This place is a fantastic spot to eat with family and friends. We had a wonderful time chatting with Roby, who is an amazing owner. He guided us on what to order and explained everything since it was our first time at the restaurant. The food was beyond delicious! We also recommend trying homemade drinks. Everything we had was delicious. I highly recommend this place, and I hope they continue their amazing friendly service. My family and I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the drink samples; we enjoyed them all. I'm so grateful that Roby and his family opened this restaurant for everyone to enjoy!
